Dressing the iconic four-string up in a streamlined, modern suit, the Japanese-made Fender Aerodyne Special Jazz Bass flexes hyper-fast playability and a slick paint-job plus matched headstock. The solid basswood body doesn't just balance out the weight and foundation sound but features enhanced contouring to complete an 'aerodynamic' feel. This has been teamed up the classic playability of a satin-gloss-coated, modern-C profile maple neck, and the modern agility of a 12 inch fretboard radius and twenty medium-jumbo frets.
The Fender Aerodyne Special Jazz Bass: Fast-Forward
The Aerodyne Series Jazz Bass hasn't just been stripped of its pickguard but the standard-issue Fender bridge has been removed and replaced with a high-spec Babicz Z-Series FCH-4 bridge that guarantees outstanding resonant transfer, excellent sustain and incredible dynamic response. This foundation is coupled with a newly designed pair of Aerodyne Special Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups to unleash classic J-bass flavoured tone that comes fully reinforced by more articulation than ever.
